"I just wanted to reach out and thank you for all the inspiration I get from CherryGal, as far as feeding the homeless and others in need. I want to tell you that I was homeless for a while and so when I was blessed with a home and a yard. I built some raised beds and decided that I would give back by not just growing for myself but also for the food banks and shelters My garden has gotten bigger and since I'm growing in raised beds it's 100% organic. I've created an edible herb garden and this year I create bouquet garden. To donate these build funds for homeless families. It's not a lot, but it's my little part. For the past 6 years I've been able to grow and provide between 100 & 150 lbs. of veggies to several food banks with the help of my wonderful and quite busy wife. Most of my plants I grow from seed indoors in tent's, and under lamps before they're ready to go out in the garden. I want to express my appreciation for your wonderful an pure seed. I want to provide these, God's children, with healthy and delicious good food instead of the junk food and GMO laced veggies that is often provided to these food banks and shelters. My goal is 200 lbs. of great veggies and herbs this year but I'm limited in space. I'm trying to get our town to donate an empty lot area around the corner from me so that we could convert it into an urban garden and teach self sufficiency an exercise area, for seniors etc. So now you see what a small comment about growing for others has started. Thank you for the best seed money can buy."

"You offer many interesting heirloom varieties and I appreciate the time you take to make these seeds available to the home gardener. I also appreciate the fact that you mention about giving extras to the local food bank. We did this for the 1st time last year and will do it again this year. It is a great way to give back to the community and make some really good food available to those who need it most. We donated lots of Swiss chard and green beans. If we know we will not be able to process the beans we pick within a few days we take all the extra to the food bank. It especially makes me feel good to know that a few families will have good quality organic veggies to eat instead of junk food. Thanks again."
