MOUNTAIN RIDGE PURE RAW HONEY NORTH CAROLINA 35 OZ. I am so happy I discovered Mountain Ridge Pure Raw Honey. It is "made" right here in North Carolina and comes in a wonderful 35 oz size Mason jar. Pure, raw, simple, perfect. Absolutely nothing matches the fragrance and taste of this honey. I use it now on and in just about everything calling for a sweet flavor -- pancakes, tea, baked goods, marinades, sauces, hot cereals -- everything except my morning coffee! I also love to just slather it on a thick slice of home baked bread. The rich dark clear amber color, fabulous taste and fragrance, will stay good just about forever -- but it won't last that long once you taste it! Raw honey doesn't spoil. Raw honey is soooooooooooo healthy! So be sure you always have enough on hand with this large size 35 oz jar. BRAND NEW.
ABOUT RAW HONEY: Humankind has eaten honey for over 3,000 years and the ancients also relied upon honey as a medicinal and cosmetic. There is a BIG difference between processed honey and raw honey. Processed honey is heat-treated, filtered and often has additives like corn syrup (why?????) added. Raw honey is antibacterial and antibiotic, with a substance called inhibine which will prevent infection and promote healing of wounds and burns, and also makes it a good skin conditioner. Easy to digest and soothing to the digestive tract. Raw honey contains natural antioxidants, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, calcium, iron, zinc, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium, copper, chromium, manganese, selenium, neutraceutical (strengthen immune system). Where refined sugars give you an immediate energy jolt, but with negative after effect, Raw Honey's simple sugars will enhance your energy and stamina in a more natural, sustained way. Raw Honey also promotes "good" digestive bacteria, reduces homocystein which makes it heart healthy, and raw honey does not require refrigeration!
RECIPE FOR CHERRYGAL CHINESE PORK STIR FRY: The marinade is comprised of Mountain Pride Raw Honey, CherryGal Aji Cristal Pepper (or any fresh chili pepper) minced (with seeds removed), thinly slivers of fresh ginger, soy sauce, and fresh minched garlic. Thinly slice pork boneless ribs or tenderloin and soak in the marinade for 1-2 hours. Rough equivalents are 2 ribs to 1/4 C marinade (1/8 C honey and 1/8 C soy sauce). That is enough to generously serve 1 person, or 2 on a diet like I always am (portions ... portions!). Cut up broccoli florets & some stem and carrots slivered and heat 1/4 C olive oil or other heart healthy oil on high. Use a strainer spoon to scoop up the pork mixture and reserve the juices. Fry the pork mixture, broccoli and carrots, stirring quicky so it does not stick or burn. Add 1 t. corn starch to the reserved juices and stir until dissolved. When pork has cooked, add this mixture in and turn heat to medium. Stir 1-2 minutes until a good sauce is created, adding water if needed. Serve with rice, chopped peanuts and cucumber on the side.
