Deborah leapt at the idea of learning pewtersmithing and turning it into a hobby of her own. Within three years, it was obvious that Deborah’s “hobby” was taking over the Chapman home. Deborah’s first artistic explorations were in ceramics and costume design, whereas Jim’s were in woodworking and bookmaking.
