Coleus, also known as Painted Nettle, is one of the most beloved summer decorative plants in the garden. It comes in an almost unlimited array of color and form. Used in containers and beds, it is so easy to grow, to shape, to propagate, that it is no wonder it is so popular. They do need fertile, well-draining soil, and most will do best in shade or partial shade, but many will also tolerate full sun. Pinch the plants to maintain their size and shape and to remove the unimpressive flower spikes, and put the foliage pinches in water to sprout roots and grow more! Water plants in the morning to prevent mildew. Fast growing, plants grow 18" to 24". These do love warm temps, so wait to put out until your weather is consistently 60F minimum. You can bring in for the winter, or take cuttings to root so you will have in the Spring. You will get one plant in a 3.5" nursery pot, with shipping May until hot weather precludes.
Please note: If for any reason you believe your plant arrives in distressed condition, or damaged, please take a picture and send to me immediately. I will either send you another plant or refund, but I can do nothing if you do not notify me of the plant's condition with photo on arrival. Also, some of the pictures may be of mature or blooming plants. You are getting what is represented in the description, not a mature blooming plant.
