Description
My favorite so far! This beautiful Fit Of Pique FLOWER FROGGY TOAD HOUSE is composed mainly of antique hand-painted porcelain from a Tuscany England plate. Added to that are several other patterns and a few tiny natural polished gemstones. Of course, on top sits a very vintage Toad figurine. Unmarked, but at least 50 years old. I like him because he is happy! And any toad living in this house should be happy! Did you know that one toad in your garden can eat 100 unwelcomes a day -- beetles, slugs, crickets, flies, ants -- even small mice and snakes! You can't do better in terms of natural pest control, but please keep the chemicals out of your garden because toads are very susceptible. Toads do need protection from predators like birds, so a toad house allows him an escape. Also can protect him when temps suddenly dip, as that can stun and kill him. This toad house measures 5-7/8" H x 6-1/4" W at the base. All grouting has been glazed to protect from degradation and mildew. This one is ready for your wonderful garden, or to give as a gift!
