Frogs and Toads are cherished in the garden for their voracious appetite for unfriendly bugs! A single frog can eat over 100 insects in one night! But they are completely vulnerable to all sorts of predators, so if you value them, give them a home where they can rest and sleep. This hand made by me Prince Toad's House is a US made terra cotta base decorated with a myriad of vintage and antique china bits. It measures 5.75" high x 6.5" across the bottom. It is glazed to protect the grouting from the weather. There is a backstamp of the Double Crown Germany porcelain but there are many different porcelain patterns represented. A green glass "jewel" designates the Royal nature of this abode, as does the china Crown above it. Prince Toad himself is a vintage ceramic marked "Japan" and looks rather regal sitting on his antique china "lily pad."
