Description
HONESTY / MONEY PLANT (Lunaria biennis) is most familiar to us for the flat round seed pods that appear in autumn, but it is first a spectacular fragrant violet flower, produces 3' high spokes of lush beauty that last from early Spring to early Summer. Be sure to leave a few of the seed pods on the plant so it will reseed. Bring the rest indoors for your fall decorating. Interestingly, the seeds are edible and taste like mustard (it is of the same family). The root and flowers are also edible. Zones 6 - 10. 50 Seeds.
GROWING TIPS: Sow directly in early Spring or Fall by sprinkling seeds directly onto rich, well-draining soil. Fast germinating (in Spring) and fast growing.
