Triamble Pumpkin (Curcubita maxima) (also known as Shamrock or Tr-Star) is a rare and unusual pumpkin from Australia that will capture your heart once you try it and grow it! The greyish-blue triangle shape and huge (up to 10 lbs) size sets it apart visually. Large, heavy, with dense brilliant orange flesh and a relatively small seed cavity (which is one reason they are so rare). As an artist, I just love the way it looks! But that is not the only reason to love this strange creature. First, unlike so many large pumpkins that you might struggle to open, the 3-lobes and the skin of the Triamble crack easily, so using a flat head screwdriver and mallet it opens along the lobe lines to display its treasure of abundant dry sweet flavorful flesh - perfect for baking in a wide variety of recipes. It stores for many months, so that is another benefit. 10 Seeds.
