SPAGHETTI SQUASH (C. pepo) is a Chinese heirloom variety that is unique for the way its flesh shreds with a fork into strands similar to spaghetti, and can be served with sauces in the same way. Its 10 foot vines bear 4 or 5 fruits that are 8"-10" long and weigh 3-5 pounds. This is a winter squash and will cure and store for several months! Can be baked, boiled or steamed. Once cooked, shred the flesh and add your toppings and serve or bake again. (The way you cut it makes a difference - see pic below) The squash itself makes a nice serving bowl. Very nutritious and low in calories. Great market sellers, especially if you cut one open for display. 88-110 days. 10 seeds.
