FLEUR DE RIGEUR TOMATO (Solanum lycopersicum) is a beautiful "flower" when sliced, which is its main attraction. Its deeply ribbed, flattened, well formed fruits with deep red to brick-red color, firm meaty flesh and sometimes hollow seed locules make it an ideal decorative when applied to foccacia or other savory dishes. Fruits range from 8-18 oz. Full flavored, rich, somewhat sweet and enhanced by the oven though they are also wonderful in sandwiches and sauce. This French heirloom variety was released by the l'Association Réagir (React Association), an organization in France dedicated to helping people obtain employment. Very disease resistant. Indeterminate with thick strong stems. 72-90 days. You will get one seedling in a 3.5" nursery pot shipped when weather allows but supply is very limited, so reserve now.
