Please your kitty cat by growing a fresh organic pot of Variegated Cat Grass for their daily salad and an Organic Catnip-Infused Toy in your choice of Six (6) colors/decorations to match your kitty: Ginger Stripe, Ginger, Tiger, Calico, Grey Stripe and Black. You will receive a 3.5" nursery pot, sufficient organic seed starting soil to fill, approximately 100 seeds, and your choice of one catnip-infused cat paw toy. If you do not see your choice, it means that pattern has sold out. My Ginger loves her toy because it is soft and she can easily pick up and toss it for play or carry it around. She sometimes brings to me for a game of fetch. Makes a wonderful gift as well!
Variegated Cat Grass (Hordeum vulgare) is a safe way to bring a touch of the outdoors inside with this bright white and green variety of barley grass. Fat growing, it emerges in just a few days from sowing and ready to begin harvesting for your kitty's food in less than a week. Barley is so good for your pets (cats AND dogs AND chickens) ... it has some protein and a lot of vitamins and minerals, not to mention the fiber it provides. Cat grass also can be used like wheatgrass for health-conscious juicers. Grow 25 to 100 seeds per 3.5" pot, reserving 1-2 tablespoons of the soil which you have moistened with warm water before filling the pot. Spread seeds out on the surface of the soil, cover with reserved soil, then press gently so seeds make contact with the moist soil. Keep moist but not wet. The best way to maintain your greens and keep your kitty healthy is to clip the tops daily into their food. Don't let your kitty have unsupervised access to the pot or they may decimate it in short order.
