Angelonia (Angelonia augustifolia), also known as Summer Snapdragon, is an upright decorative plant that loves the heat and full sun of summer. Originating in the Southern hemisphere, it has a fragrance like apples and deep flowers that attract pollinators and hummingbirds. The fragrance stays even when cut, so plant enough so you can have plenty for cutting. Growing 18" high it is perfect for the front or middle border and, because of its upright habit, should be grown in odd-numbered groups for the most pleasing arrangement The photo shown, for example, is of multiple plants. An annual, except in Zones 10-11, you will want to wait to plant in ground until your weather is a consistent temp of at least 60F. Easy to care for requiring only moderate watering, it will bloom all summer right up to Fall frost. You will get one plant in a 3.5" pot with shipping beginning mid-May.
Please note: If for any reason you believe your plant arrives in distressed condition, or damaged, please take a picture and send to me immediately. I will either send you another plant or refund, but I can do nothing if you do not notify me of the plant's condition with photo on arrival. Also, some of the pictures may be of mature or blooming plants. You are getting what is represented in the description, not a mature blooming plant.
